The Lincoln Association for Traditional Arts is a non-profit
organization formed April 1, 1982. Our mission is to preserve and promote folk and
traditional music, dance, and related arts in the Lincoln area.
LAFTA is the only local organization that is specifically dedicated to
bringing well known traditional musicians and highly respected contemporary folk
performers to the Lincoln area. The association also sponsors events that feature
local musicians, songwriters, folk dancers and storytellers.
LAFTA is again pleased to present our series at
The Loft at the Mill and the Auld Pavilion in Antelope Park. Both facilities
are fully accessible.
We seek to provide reasonably priced concerts that are
family-friendly, fully accessible, and in smoke-free environments. House concerts and Contra Dances
are also part of our regular schedule.
